REGISTERING FOR FOURTH YEAR IN BACHELOR OF ARTS IN FINE ARTS

STEP 1
Registering for Compulsory Major 1 (64 credits): Fine Arts
What to do: Register ALL TWO of the following compulsory modules:
XBDK4808 (Fine Arts)
XBKE4808 (Fine Arts Studio Research)
*Please take note that you need to have passed XBDK3708 and XTKN3708 as well as HKGK3718 and HKGK3728 in order to register for the above modules. In case you did not pass these module(s), contact the Fine Arts Programme Director at FineArts@ufs.ac.za for advice, since you will be required to first complete all four of these modules before proceeding to your fourth year.
STEP 2
Compulsory Major 2 (64 credits): Art History and Image Studies
What to do: Register ALL TWO of the following compulsory modules:
HKGK4808 (Contemporary South African Art Contexts)
HKWS4808 (Recent Developments in Visual Art and Culture)
*Please take note that you need to have passed HKGK1514, HKGK1624, HKGK2614, HKGK2724, HKGK3718 and HKGK3728 in your previous years in order to register for the above modules. In case you did not pass these modules, you need to reregister for them and repeat them this year.
